This home is a Mike Murry Homes design which won 4 awards in 2005 which included 2005 HIA Wide Bay & Districts Home of the Year. This magnificent home stands as testament to the fact that a home can be aesthetically pleasing, cost effective and environmentally friendly.
In this home, simple but effective materials have been used. Raw fibre cement sheeting with an eye catching shadow line edge detail has been sealed and used on the most of the exterior walls. Feature panels of corrugated sheet steel with a metallic finish and black tinted polycarbonate sheeting complete the neutral yet sophisticate palette.
Internally, strong simple lines, a neutral palette with fearure colours exhibiting a strong environmental influence prevail. Timber Louvers are used where possible to aid in cross ventilation, wide eaves shade the walls. Bamboo flooring has been used throughout the home and adds to the appeal.
This is a great example of how Mike Murry Homes have worked to create a dwelling that is fastidious in its detailing.
