The project is typically of light weight construction on steel post with additional steel beams in limited areas as to provide the longer spans for the open spaces whilst keeping the thin ceiling lines. The external walls are a combination of three claddings. The main cladding is FC sheeting over corrugated iron and spotted gum chamfer boards providing additional feature panels in highlighted areas.
Spotted Gum concealed fixing decking provides a platform for all external areas. A centrally located deck provides protection from the southerly breezes whilst also providing additional open space off the living area. The project is nested in an award winning eco-friendly pristine Estate in Agnes Water and the materials and colours used compliment the natural surrounds.
Inside the home, hardwood tongue and groove flooring was used for the internal living area. The entertainment system features speakers which have been flush set into the ceilings and walls provide a unique sound experience.
High louvers provide a passage for the escaping hot air whilst allowing the penetration of northern sunlight. The open plan ensuite features a large northernly facing picture window that provides views and light to the north. The large free standing bath and frameless glass shower screen furthers the open plan living of this home.
The kitchen is well designed for entertaining with the use of Granite tops which flow from the kitchen area to the external entertaining area via a large hinged window that opens up to allow the entertainment to flow inside.
This home has been built with attention to detail.
